Not an Office issue. I suggest you contact your computer manufacturer for
support.

Or post to a Windows newsgroup. Here are a few quick suggestions.
Start by double-clicking on the speaker icon in the System Tray.
1) Are any of the Mute check boxes checked? Uncheck them.
2) Are the volume sliders at the bottom? Is so, sound is turned off.
Slide them up.
3) Check Device Manager for any driver problems.

Good luck

I'm of the sort that says if it's possible, I direct my questions to the
manufacturer/service provider. I figure we paid for something - it's up to
them to resolve the issue. If it's outside of a warranty period, then I hit
Google. Funny thing - actually posting a question in a newsgroup is the last
step I take. Different strokes. :)
