I have microsoft XP. I want to add powerpoint. What version do I.

I have an older version of powerpoint on a different computer. However, I
just purchased a laptop that has windows xp. What version of powerpoint do I
need to purchase? (The older version was for Windows 95 and I am sure the
improvements are worth the purchase of a newer version of powerpoint).

Yes, the improvements are worth it.

The most recent version of PPT is 2003. I'd go for that one.

If your old version is PowerPoint 95, it is not eligible for upgrading. But, as
Echo says, PowerPoint 2003 is well worth it, so purchase the full standalone
version or you might want to consider purchasing the full Office 2003 Suite so
that you'll have Word, Excel, etc.
