I have MS Office 2000 Pro discs lost product key?

I have the orginial discs and wish to install the software on a newly
purchased laptop. Wiping clean the old machine, but I cannot find the
original jewel case with the product code key on it. Is there any thing I
can do?

If the installation is still extant on the old machine, download either
Belarc (http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html) or Everest
(http://www.lavalys.com/products/overview.php?pid=1&lang=en). Run either of
these and they will tell you your Product ID. (Along with a great deal of
other useful information!)
