Dear gripon:

This is a newsgroup for questions about Microsoft Access, the database
mangement program. You might have more luck in a more appropriate newsgroup,
perhaps:

microsoft.public.windowsxp.general

Moving data from one computer to another can be done by linking computers
together in a network, or copying files to a CDRW, USB memory stick, or
floppy disks. It would depend on how many files you need to copy, how big
the files are, and other factors.

Good luck!

This is a forum for Microsoft Access. You might get a better reply by posting
to a different group that has something to do with data transfer.

There are several software applications that will perform this task for you.
Search the internet for "Data transfer applications"

If the files that you want to transfer are within the size of a flash drive
and your computers are both equipped with USB ports, spend the $30 on a flash
drive and use it to do your data transfer. It's always handy to have one
anyway if you take any of your work from one location to another.
