i have office 2000 cd and it is scratched and i cant install it.

i have this cd and my hard drive crashed and i need to reinstall it, but it
is scratched and will not install. is there any way i can remedy this
without having to buy another version of office. i called microsoft and they
cannot replace it. i have thought maybe i could download it off the internet
site and use the key on the cd. will this work? please help me. I need this
for work.

The Windows 2000 CD cannot be downloaded from the
internet. You may wish to purchase a repair kit.
