Not a good idea to post a key #, though I dont believe that is the correct
installation key for a MS retail Office cd. The key for that is on an orange
sticker fixed to the cd case and is a 5 piece grouping of 5 alpha numerics
eg ***** ***** ***** ***** *****

Maybe you have an OEM supplied copy, which was tied to the origonal pc?

Actually, that looks like an Office 97 key. But I think we'll need more
information from the original poster is order to help.
