i have office vista. i can't drag my mouse on a text to select it

have office vista. i can't drag my mouse on a text to select it even thought
the drag aption is on. it will only allow me to triple click and select the
whole paragraph or ctrl and click and select a whole sentance.HELP!

There is not an item such as Office Vista. There is a Windows Vista
operating system, and there is an Office XP or Office 2003 or Office
2007 suites. And then the question is which application in the Office
suite are you using?
