I have outlook folders I cannot see

I tryed backing up my Outlook by using export to create a personal pst file.
Worked fine but when I tested it I could not see any of MY folders. If I try
create a folder I used to have it says I already have one with that name. I
really need them back please help

Not sure, but don't export - close Outlook and copy the PST file for a
backup. If you aren't sure where it is, search for *.pst (include
hidden/system folders in your search).

That's NOT how you backup a PST. Just copy it with Outlook closed.
