I have to reset my email settings everytime

I have to reset my server setting everytime I want to read my e-mail. After
resetting I can then read my mail, but the next time I want to read my mail
I have do it all over again and again and again. POP3, SMTP, outgoing,
incoming, password all have to be reset each time. I'm using Windows XP and
this just started happenig a month a so ago.
Can anyone help me?.
