i have upgraded to 2007 and lost my contacts and emails

I have completed the set up procedure and now have no contacts in my address
book. I have also lost all of my previous emails.

So how did you do this "upgrade"? Did you uninstall the previous version and
install 2007, or did you just stick the DVD in the drive without first
uninstalling the previous version?

Upgraded from what version?
Within Outlook, File>Open>data File......open outlook.pst and see what it
contains
