I hope someone can help me...

I seem to be having a little trouble with my product key. I ordered a CD in
the mail for the beta version of FrontPage, and the product key doesn't work.
What do I do?

If it is really a beta version, I'm sure it has expired by now.

Now I'm confused. Why would they send me an expired product? I'm not really
sure if I actually ordered the beta version, but when I went to support, it
did a search and said there is no support for this beta version. So I'm
assuming that it is beta.

What does it say on the CD package? Is it a trial or a beta?

I think I would call Microsoft if I were you.

Inside the package, it should indicate the expiration of the 30 Day Evaluation Version, this is not
the same as a Trial version.

There is no expiration on the package. The information inside on the leaflet
just says it expires 30 days after activation. I just got it this week, and
can't get it to activate.

What error message are you getting when you go thru the install process on your Windows XP machine?

It installs fine, but it won't activate. The message says:

"Your software cannot be activated because the Product Key you installed
with is not valid. Please uninstall the sofware and reinstall it using a
valid Product Key."

Now what? I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and it still gives the same
message.

Then you need to call MS Product Support.

Thank you for your help. I still don't feel like I got it fixed, but now I
know what to do.

This is a peer to peer newsgroup, no one here can really solve issues relating to damaged media or
missing or invalid product key info

It'd only expire 30 days (or 15, 45 days, whatever it might be) after
installation and since the OP hasn't been able to install it why would it
expire?
