"i" info icon in Options??

In Word\Excel\Powerpoint Options, there is an "i" icon besides certain
options. What does this icon represent? Why is it there? It is not
clickable/hyperlinked. Looks rather stupid, but if there is a meaningful
purpose I'd like to know.
