I insert pics into PowerPoint,on reopening folder some are black

On PowerPoint I insert pictures and save them. On reopening the file some
(not all ) the pictures are black. On trying to reinstall the pictures they
are black. what is wrong.

PowerPoint are you using and how are you inserting the pictures.
