I lost Bullet and numbering in the format menu (XP)

Format menu in office XP : I do not have the line "bullet and numbering ",
therefore I cannot change the bullet style

When you click on the Format menu, is there a little black triangle at the
bottom of the menu? If so, click on it and see if the missing menu option
magically reappears. If the menu option really is missing, see
