I lost my Inbox

I tried to download my mail today and got an error message. I noticed I have
no Inbox anymore in my All mails Folders. How do I restore this? I went to
deleted items but that was empty, as my computer deletes all deleted items
when i such down.

What error message exactly?

You can change that behavior in tools, options, advanced if you wish.

More info is really needed here. Please post by including a concise summary
of your question in the subject line, and the full details of your question
in the body of your post. Always include your version/mode/SP level of
Outlook (from Help | About), what kind of mail account(s) you use, and any
other pertinent details.

If you're using a PST file, how big is it? Have you made a backup copy
w/Outlook closed and tried to run the Inbox Repair Tool (scanpst.exe -
search your computer for this) against it?
