I lost new page Standard format on load, how do I recover.

Somehow I lost the new page format, and have not found how to recover. Now
when it loads, there is no formatting of margins etc.

This doesn't make much sense, but at a guess, either you're in Normal view
(instead of Print Layout), or you have white space hidden; see
