Liquor Store owner

i own a liquor store and need a template (excel or database) which will help
me manage and monitor my outstanding invoices. My normal activity would be
to enter in a basic invoice by date, vendor name, amount of total invoice (no
detail of products) and due date. then i would like to do a simple sort of
the data in order to see by due date who i owe money to, or by vendor to see
who i owe the most to.

Thanks in advance

I think you'd be far better off with a purpose-built small-business
accounting package that will do all this and much, much more and will
also be auditable.
have a look at TAS books, Quickbooks and the Small business versions of
Sage.

And you can check out these free forms articles that explain how to
create a template like what you want. See the Please Fill Out This
Form series of beginner articles listed at this link. The # 5 article
will show you how to link to a database. And the AutoForms ebook
teaches you how to create a sophisticated/automated invoice.

However, if you don't have time to learn how to do all this, you'd
might want to consider having a custom solution created for you to
handle this the way you want. Check out this link for custom ideas:
