I need double clicking a drive opens it instead of exploring it

Dear all
Double clicking a folder opens it.
But double clicking a drive exploring it(I need it to be opened).
When I right click a drive, the first thing appears in the menu is Explore.
When I right click a folder, the first thing appears in the menu is open.
My computer is DELL.

This newsgroup is dedicated to Office related questions, rather than
Windows questions, but I suspect you were unable to find a Windows
newsgroup so since you're here...

Your operating system is an important detail but I suspect you are
using Windows XP. In an Exploring window you should be able to go to
Tools/Folder Options, select the File Types tab and locate Folder.
Click the Advanced button and set "Explore" as the default.

Also note you can click "Folders" in the toolbar to display the
explorer bar (tree view).
