Hello John,
Word 2003, 2002 (XP), 2000 and 97 all have the AutoRecovery option in the
same location. This will save an AutoRecovery file at certain intervals.
The option is located at: Tools, Options Save in the Word application.
Make sure there is a check placed in the "Save AutoRecovery Info every:"
and set the time to at least every 10 minutes

| It's never happened before and the only other program I
| had running was aim. Their was a specific code on the
| error either it was just one of those message that you
| get with XP, "their was an error windows needs to close
| the program to send the error report....etc" Thanks for
| the help though I retyped the paper before i saw these

| feature, i'm working with microsoft works that was loaded
