I need to compact a database at the 2gb max

I was loading records into my access database and I rec'd an "invalid
argument" message. I realized it was at 2gb but now I can't compact the
database-i get the same "invalid argument" message. I deleted a fair number
of records but the space is not being released. Is there a way I can compact
this database? Any help is appreciated.

Create a blank database, and import the data.....

Have you tried the JetComp.exe?
