We are a small company that makes grade stakes. I need some type of database to keep up with the daily production of how many stakes are cut. The workers turn tickets in to me at the end of the day.

And you want one of the unpaid volunteeers here to... what? Create the
database for you? Sorry, doesn't work that way!
You know how your business works; we don't. I have no idea what's on a
"ticket" so I can't suggest how it would be entered into a database. You will
need to identify the real-life Entities (people, things, or events of
importance to your application) and create a table for each class of entity,
then design Forms and Reports to manage those tables.
