I need to Learn how much space is left on my floppy disk?

Suzie-Q

I am a very illiterate computer user.I am using Windows ME. I tried to find
answer on help and assistant help pages.
I am trying to find out " how to check a floppy disk's available space left ?"
or
" how to find out how much usage space is left on a floppy disc?"

and if someone could give me "very simple web sites I can use (as I am
mentally challanged - I can learn but the instructions have to be very easy
and simple to understand and learn." I need to educate myself on how to use
a computer and calandar, e-mail, a program such as "Microsoft Office XP
Professional Edition", how to use floppy discs, etc. I am very dislexsic - so
basic reading is good for me.
I tried to ask the computer and osme web sites to teach me, but I don't
think I am asking the questions right.
I would appreciate ANY help and advice anyone can give me.
Thanx

1. Insert the floppy disk
2. Double click the My Computer icon on your desktop
3. Inside the My Computer Window, there is, among other things, an icon for
each one of your disk drives. Your floppy drive should be listed as Drive
A: or Floppy A: or something like that.
4. Right-click the icon for your floppy drive and a shortcut menu appears.
click Properties.
5. The system will read the disk and display a property dialog. It has a
pie chart showing you how much space is used, and how much space is left.

Most things in Windows have "context sensitive help". This means that if
you don't understand something, you can almost always click it to select it
and press the F1 key. Windows will display a help topic about the item you
have selected.

Also, you can go to the store and buy some easy beginner level books, like
"Windows for Dummies" or "Internet for Dummies" or "Microsoft Office for
Dummies". The entire "____ for Dummies" series is specifically written for
beginner users like you. (not that we think you are dumb). They will help
you learn the ropes fairly quickly.
