I need to remove underlines from my new messages

Dr.Nick

When I compose a new message in outlook it appears as if there are no
underlines when i'm typing (however my email signature is underlined which
isn't how it's supposed to be) but once I actually send the message the
entire thing is underlined. I have tried just about everything I know how to
do to fix this but I can't seem to get the underline to go away. It only
appears to have gone away until I send the message. Could someone help??

In the new message, click on the U on the formatting toolbar to toggle this
off & on. If you use Word, you have to do the same on the formatting Toolbar
(not the menu)or just stop using Word and use Outlook's editor.

Well I got it fixed you helped a lot I did not realize that it was using my
default font from word for my email so I never thought to change the default
in word to get rid of the underline. Thanks a lot.

I changed the default in Word, but Outlook still always opens with the U
highlighted, and my emails are sent undeerlined, even if I remove it.
