I need to replace a picture with another

I purchased a template and need to replace some of the pictures with my own,
how can I do this easily. Please help.

Why couldn't he properly prepare the replacement photo, resize and optimize
to fill the original space, IMPORT it into the site's images files. Delete
the original and replace with the new??
