I need to retreive e-mails

Hi,

When the beata testing of 2007 I subscribed to the trial version and was
planing to buy the 2007 edition at the end of the trial.
But when I downloaded the trial Outlook would not complete instillation and
told me I need to download again. Well I have tried that 6 or so times now
and still no luck.

There were some important e-mail in outlook that I now need and were not in
my last back up.
Is there ANY way that I can retreive these e-mails? PLEASE.

You should find it under the default store location. Its a pst file.
Mostly under "c:/documents and settings/USERNAME/Local settings/Application
data/Microsoft/Outlook". Copy this file when outlook is closed and you have
what you want.

Hi Hanadaga,

Do you have an earlier version of MS Office installed? Outlook 2007 won't install if an earlier version is active. If you had an
Office 2007 trial and it expired, you may not be able to extend a trial by installing an Outlook 2007 trial over it.

Thanks for the information - I will try those tips out and see if I can find
them.

Bob, before I downloaded the trial I followed the instructions e-mailed to
me by microsoft to tell me that my beta would be expiring, I uninstalled the
beta version (which had automatically uninstalled my 2003 version I believe
when I downloaded it) I tryed various methods that I found here in this form
but nothing will work for me. I just need to track down my 2003 disk as I
believe I left it at my parents and I will just return to 2003 version.

Thanks so much to Arun - I found the .pst files that were hidden in the
deepest darkest recess of my computer, have transfered them to another
computer - so now I can delete of all the office programmes - thanks so much.
