I need to set up a site in a root, but FP won't let me

I need to set up a site in a root, like http://www.mysite.com but FP INSISTS
that I use a lower level folder name, such as http://www.mysite.com/newsite.
This totally screws up any 'virtual' includes that I am using. How do I get
around this?

Which OS?
If Windows XP Pro there is one, and only one, root folder - for the
default web. A server can have only one root web - server OS can have
several (virtual) servers.
If a server OS (e.g. Windows 2003) then create a new virtual server
for the site.
An alternative is to use <!--#include file=
but this probably means changing the path when publishing.

Nope! I run multiple roots on the same computer. You can define them
through IIS utilities. Done it for a long time.
