J JE McGimpsey Jun 3, 2004 #3 One way: =Sheet2!B6 - Sheet1!B12 You can do this easily by entering "=" (without the quotes) in your target cell, navigating to Sheet2, cell B6 and clicking in it, typing "-" and navigating to Sheet2!B12 and clicking, then hitting Enter. XL will supply the sheet references.
