I paid $239 for Microsoft Office 2003 upgrade have Transaction # and key but
I can't find the downloadable software. I need to use Excell this morning --
very important.

I am a new user. Should I have ordered Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 2?
If so, how do I correct this error?

Where did you buy it from?

Where did you purchase the software? There is no legal downloadable MS
Office software.

I bought the software from Microsoft.com. Apparently I did not wait long
enough to find the software. I had no problem finding it the next day, but
the software didn't indicate that it was the Upgrade version. I have this
question re: upgrade in to Microsoft but haven't heard from them yet (06/20).

Microsoft does not have downloable Office. You need to go back again and
see what they say about how you obtain the software.

www.microsoft.com Distributor is License Technologies Group, Inc. They sent
me links for Customer Service, Returns, and Feedback. I hope I didn't pay too
much and I also hope I didn't give money to a bootlegger. Their site is very
professional and they sell a variety of MS products. ~ckperin

Because you didn't say which edition of Office you purchased and that it was
an upgrade, the cost could have been too much. Personally, I'm a HUGE fan of
Amazon.com. At least then you have the CDs in hand instead of fiddling
around with downloads.

I think you need to call Microsoft's Sales division and ask them your
question.

How did you end up on License Technologies Group's site if you got your
software from MS?

Hi JoAnn,

MS Offers a number of ways to purchase online. You can choose an online retailer,
http://microsoft.com/products/info/render.aspx?view=22&type=how or you can upgrade a trial copy by purchasing a key. One of the
suppliers that manages the key conversion process for Microsoft is License Technologies Group.

Oh, so that's how. I'll stick to recommending Amazon.com. They only want
$208.72 for the Office 2003 Std upgrade. And free shipping too.
