I PUT A FORMULA IN A CELL BUT I DON'T GET NUMBERS BUT THE FORMULA

when I put a numbers in the cell and click inter..I see the formula in the
appointed cell but not the number it self ..please help

It sounds like the cell is formatted as text.

Use Format Cells (number tab) and choose General.

Then Edit and Enter, and you should see the number.

1. Uncheck the Formulas option on the View tab under Tools|Options if
it's checked.

2. Format the cell as General, go the Formula Bar, and hit F2.

Do you mean you see a formula, like =SUM(A1:A10)?

If so, go to Tools>Options>View and uncheck the Formulas check box.
