Runing Vista, Office 2007, and this has got to be the worst program
I've ever used. Is it advisable to go back to Outlook Express?
If it makes you happier, sure. Don't let software you don't like ruin your
life. FWIW, in Vista, it is Windows Mail now.
If you want to fix the problem, it's likely an Anti-Virus software that is
hooked into either Outlook or monitoring SMTP traffic. Try starting Outlook
in safe mode with the /safe switch and see if you can then send the message.
If you can't, try, as a lark, uninstalling the A/V software (since I'm going
to assume that you have the install media to reinstall it assuming the test
doesn't succeed) and try then.
