I rename a file in '02, links don't update - WHY??

Steve

Hope someone can help me here...

First off, I am fairly good at Excel and am answering
questions for people and leaving my email address in the
Excel section of this Newsgroup, so they can follow up
with me...

I am not selfish, only looking for people to help me, I am
also helping others in here...With that said...

I just got my web-hosting company to switch me from FTP to
Front Page extensions today, because I want to overhaul my
site a bit, rename files, add folders, move files, etc.,
and figured it would easier to do it in Front Page because
the links SHOULD all automatically update/change, because
that what Front Page does...It worked for me before, using
Front Page 2000 about 4 years ago, then I went to FTP...

Now, in MS-FP 2002, I rename a file, and I get
propmpted, "Do you want to update the 60 files so the
links won't be broken" (not quite exact, but hey), I OF
COURSE hit "OK" or "YES", it takes about 4 or 5 minutes to
do this, which tells me it should've worked, but when it's
finished, I check on a few of the links and find that NONE
of the links were updated!!!...None!!!...

How can I correct this?...

Thanx...

Steve
