I REPLACED A FILE WHEN TRANSFERING A FILE FROM MEMORY STICK TO COMPUTER THAT
HAD THE SAME NAME. UNFORTUNATELY, IT DIDN'T HAVE ALL THE INFO THAT THE
ORIGINAL FILE HAD. IS THERE A WAY OF REINSTATING THE ORIGINAL?

Probably not, but you might ask in a more appropriate newsgroup. This one's
for questions about using Access, the database product that's part of Office
Professional. A newsgroup related to whatever operating system you're using
would be more appropriate.

If you do repost, consider turning off your Caps Lock. Typing in all capital
letters is the visual equivalent of yelling, and is considered to be rude.
