and it does not solve my problem, which I have described also in another post
( see Visio links don't work in IE7):
I have a slightly different issue: links work if you use the gif_xx.htm files
without the frames and the widgets.
When you use the widgets and everything, as soon as you click on a link, it
tries to access the yyyy.vsd file under which you had saved your visio
project instead of the hyperlinked gif_zz.htm file. I can provide a sample
file if needed

Hi Nicky,

well that is not what our tool should corret. Our tool just corrects the
wrong link format for IE 7
