that's because excel recognises 05650 as a number .. so basically you have
two choices
if it is a number, ie you want to calculate with it you have to change the
formatting to show the 0
so right mouse click on the cell, choose format cells, in the number tab,
choose custom and type in the white line
00000
click OK
if however, you aren't going to calculate with it then you can do either of
the following,
before you type the value choose format / cells and select text - click OK
then enter the value or
when you're typing the value in type a ' first (e.g. '05650)
both of these methods means that excel will treat it as text.
