I want Body Text not a Bulleted List

However, when I turn Bulleted List off, the second and subsequent lines
indent. When I adjust the margin on my ruler, it affects all bulleted lists
too. How can I make it apply to only the paragraph at hand?

Unfortunately you can't unless you work with Powerpoint 2007. The older
versions apply the indent to the whole textbox not only on one paragraph.
