i want change a jpeg file to a pdf file

i have scanned a document onto my vista pc i now want to change from jpeg to
pdf so i can copy and paste onto word, so that i may take the details and put
them into my contact folder, other wise i have to put on all the addresses by
manual hand there is over1000??

This group is for discussions about Microsoft Access, a relational database
program. The web interface may have misdirected you here. You would do
better, perhaps, to start in a Vista newsgroup.

A search for "Free pdf" or some such will point you to utilities that can
create pdf files, but a pdf file created from a jpg is no more readable by
Word than is a jpg. You will need some sort of OCR software, but I can't
advise about the specifics.
