either select Dear sir , Dear hiring manager, dear maddam, etc. It doesn't
give me a chance to select copy so that I can paste it somewhere ele.
I did try going to a blank document and right clicked but it give me a
chance to paste something I coppied earlier. When I went back to the
document I wanted to copy it did the same thing!! Please help I'm trying to
find a job and my time is running out..Thank you. Danielle

I've read this three times and I just don't understand what you are asking.
I'm sorry, maybe I'm a bit muddle-headed.

What do you mean by it doesn't give you a chance to copy something? And what
do you mean by Selection bar?

I also have to assume you are talking about a resume created in Word. Which
version?

Open the document you want to copy the contents of then Press "Ctrl+A"
to Select All, THEN select Copy to get the contents placed in the
Clipboard. NOW you may paste that to the desired location.
