I want to copy slide show to CD

Hi , I want to copy a slide show with music to a cd and or a dvd so that I
can give it to someone who does not have powerpoint on their computer, I am
able to get the show to the desk top and then copy as reccomended but when I
install the cd on another computer the show comes up but does not present the
slides in the same way with all the actions up and also their is no sound. I
have also tried to include the viewer so that they can use that as well but
to no avail.
help Christmas is only a few days away.
