I want to save a slide in pp but it keeps saving the entire task .

I know this is stupid but I am a novice. I just want to save a slide to my
docs so I can eventually send it out in an email. It keeps saving the task
bar also. I just want the slide.

How are you saving it? Go to File > Save As and select JPG or PNG as the "Type
of file".
