I want to unlock a pp to use images as background

I am a new pps user, and need to "unlock" a recieved pps to use one of the
images as a backgroung. How do I do that Pleae???

If the pps is really "locked" it would probably mean the author doesn't want
you to do this!

If however you just mean that you don't know how to save images from a pps
and the author is happy that you use them...

Open PowerPoint > File > Open the pps file
Right click on image and save as picture

What John said and...

If the image is a background on every slide, you might have to go to the
View menu and choose Master and Slide Master to be abel to select the
image.
