i want to use military format for time e.g. 07:00 as 0700

Hi,

you need to create a custom format.

In Excel 2003 select the cells you want to format and choose Format, Cells,
Number tab, Custom. On the Type line enter
hhmm

If you wish to enter time as 0700 and have it a valid time you must use event
code.
