I have excel 2007 and want to use the regression tool but am unable to find
it in this system. If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated!

You need to install the Analysis ToolPak.

The Data Analysis tool should then be at the far right of the "Data" ribbon.

Select HELP and then Search for Data Analysis. The first choice should take
you to a screen with instructions.
