I would like to have text tabs in excel for improved data storage

This would help those of us using excel to share data by allowing a comments
/ read me page to be formatted as a text file.

Insteado f having to send two documents the word expalnation is linked to
the spreadsheet it explains.

This newsgroup is specifically for matters dealing with Microsoft Project.
I suggest you try to find a more appropriate newsgroup that deals with Excel
