Why does the Outlook icon residein my tray at the bottom right hand side
after the first time I use Outlook? When I click on it I get the message:
"Outlook is not responding." I am not using an exhange server e-mail account
for OUtlook, at least I don't think I am.

Can I get rid of it?

Thanks.

Outlook 2003 always puts an icon in the system tray when it's running. I
don't know of any way to remove the icon.

Thanks for your reply, Brian. I was wondering because Outlook 2002 didn't.
