id number

I have this Mircosoft office 97 pro edition that was given
to me and I am trying to install it but, when i get to a
certain part it ask for the id number that was on the back
of cd. My problem is that they didn't give me the package
it came in they just gave me the disk it self how can i
find out this number?

You cannot. ID was supplied on CD Jewel Case.
It has been suggested that if you know another with Office97, use their ID
with yr disk.
Of course this isnt permitted under the Licence, perhaps you should buy
Office?
