Identify five advantages of using a desktop publishing program!

I am not looking for anyone to give me answers to my "So-Called" homework.
That would be just as about stupid as the reply to my question that was first
posted! My instructor found a couple of typo's in "Microsoft Office Publisher
2003/Introductory" by Elizabeth Eisner Reding. This is an intro class and he
gave us a "Food For Thought" research on the above question which he did
suggest going to a forum and posting the question to see just how many 2003
Certified MOUS Technicians would actually know or remember the correct answer.

I posted that response. And I don't think it was stupid. You said you had a
homework question and were looking for some answers. Why not read the blurbs
about a couple of the DTP programs that are on the market and formulate your
own answers.

Odd. You have have a homework question (well, at least you stated that it
was "a pop question that was not in the textbook") that asks you for five
advantages of a desktop publishing program. You ask us for five advantages
of a desktop publishing program. To me that sounds like you're asking us to
do your homework question for you.

I doubt you'll find any MOUS Technicians in here. Probably not even any
technicians.
There is no MOUS qualification for Publisher.

"Food For Thought" I would suggest means you sit and think about the
question. This seems the opposite of going to a forum and asking what the
folks there think about the question.

If you understand what a DTP program is, and how it relates to other
programs types, then you should be able to work out advantages to using a
DTP program in a particular scenario for yourself. This shold be of far
more benefit to you than being told. Remember of course that the advantages
of a DTP program will vary depending on the circumstances. Sometimes it
will be inappropriate to use a DTP program.

Please also learn how to use these forums appropriately. The first post you
made was in the wrong forum. That forum was for programming issues, i.e.
relating to the Publisher object model and/or VBA, and not for general
questions. This is the correct forum, however, it would have been more
appropriate to post a reply to the thread, rather than starting a new
thread, as starting a new thread will confuse anyone who was not reading the
first thread.

for reinforcing the concept of doing your own homework. I'd be willing to be
that you're going to university because you did your own. ;-)

That is just exactly my point. I own a business and i am a female owner of a
4 year old, he gets called 24 7andhe oves it bust I just thatnk that I could
brought myu. but I just want to make program have oppurtuntunites that will

yr olds can barely answer the phone correctly. And they aren't usually

I guess I was thinking more along the lines of a rhetorical question that
did not require an answer. I am more interested in why this post has
returned after almost 6 weeks. I generally clear out my post every couple of
weeks - I just did it Friday night. I remembered this subject line for some
reason.
