Identities and passwords

Does anyone know how to set a password for identies? Can
you set one for the main identity?

There are no such thing as identities in Outlook. If this is an Outlook
Express question, ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.

Hi,

Outlook Express uses Identites, not Outlook. If you are using Outlook Express and would like to password the Identity, follow the steps below;

1. Open Outlook Express
2. Click on File > Identities > Manage identity
3. Select the Identity you want to password
4. Click Properties
5. Check the box "Require a password"

If you are using Outlook, you will need to password protect the .PST file itself.
