Internet explorer 6.0 is corrupt on my pc. It wont uninstall, repair or
re-install. MS Access wont run as it says it is not installed even though IE
works.
I ran Upgrade from my Windows 2000 Install CD as it states that it replaces
the OS but does not change any settings or installed programs. Well guess
what: all of my Office programs will not work anymore. It says to reinstall
from my CD. My Office 2000 CD is lost. I still have the key though.
All of my Office exe files are still there but they wont run. When I double
click on the exe file it states that the application must be installed to
run.
Is there a OS or Registry entry that can be changed to tell the OS that
these programs are installed?
Or does any know where I can download replacement Office 2000 programs. I
need Excel and Access. As I said I still have the Install Key?
