IE & Outlook 2003

Everytime I click on an email link in a web page I
get "email client not properly installed" error. Then
about 60 IE pages open with the email link address in the
address bar of IE. I've tried to do a repair of Outlook
but still have the same problem. What can I do to correct
this?
