IE Script errors in XP with SP3

I'm running XP professional with IE 6.02 and I recently installed SP3.
I keep getting script errors (operation is not allowed when the object
is closed) when reading .chm files. I can continue if I click to make
the error screen go away. I've tried disabling script debugging and
turning of debug notification in Explorer, but it doesn't seem to help.

Windows Update tells me my system needs no critical updates.

Any ideas? Its really annoying.

I tried it, but it didn't help. I finally solved it by deleting my
temporary Internet files.
